A little over a year ago, I was walking through art studios looking for things to buy for our bare walls. Realizing it was impossible to decide among so many beautiful pieces, I decided to try making a piece of art for our home. I figured it would be unique and meaningful if it was something I made myself. But I had no idea then that painting would quickly turn into something I love. With a career that demands so much dedication, it has been incredibly refreshing to find a creative outlet. I never thought I would reach a point where I would be comfortable sharing my art with the world. But after outgrowing my dining room, I decided to get a bit more serious about my hobby and have entered the art world with my very own studio. In truth, I am just hopeful that others will appreciate some of my art and that my story might inspire some of you to pick up a paintbrush and just give it a try. Finding your artistic side is one of the best things you can do for your soul.
